Launched in 2017, the ASFL Gauntlet brings together players for a 24-hour basketball marathon, symbolizing the emotional and physical struggle of cancer patients. Medical staff, masseuses, and trainers ensure player safety during this grueling event.
The first Gauntlet faced unexpected challenges, including a freezing night with no heat, bonding participants through shared adversity. Today, the event at Starland Sportsplex hosts hundreds of players across eight courts, offering a fun, all-star game atmosphere where participants of all skill levels can connect and fight exhaustion together.
